Echo Lodge - West Sacramento

Worker was fixing furniture above our room until 2:30 AM - hammering, drilling, dragging things across the floor. He literally saw us checking in, but didn't care at all. It felt like construction site noise all night. Me and my husband had a completely sleepless night, and for a hotel this is unacceptable. Absolutely terrible experience. Don't recommend this place at all!

This a property probably built in the 50's? New vinyl windows, new fiberglass shower (no grungy tile), new carpets, freshly painted, CLEAN! For a very low cost we stayed here for a night - wondering what it would be like. We were more than pleasantly surprised. Were checked in early by the owner/manager who was extremely nice and even insisted on carrying bags to the room for us. A quiet location and we really liked the window in front as well as a bathroom window which allowed cross ventilation. Will definitely stay here again.

The staff was friendly enough, but the room was absolutely disgusting. Mold on the ceiling, dingy carpet, old and moldy wooden furniture, beat up fridge and microwave. Just gross. I slept fully clothed and checked out the next day. I originally booked for 3 days, but they only refunded me for 1. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

If I can give no stars I would, the lady was rude and they do not display rules on Expedia of no visitor and $250 deposit. Got my sister a room and was going to have her do my hair and go but because no visitors she refused services even though I paid for the room. Smelled of stank spices, she was discriminatory, rude, and so many unnecessary rules for an empty location. Never go there, I can only imagine what rooms look like being there review state bed bugs, so maybe good idea I didn’t stay. Never waste time going to this place they are a rip off
