TownePlace Suites by Marriott Winchester

We were passing through the area en route back to Massachusetts from our Florida vacation. We typically only stay at Marriott hotels and stayed at several during our trip through the mid-Atlantic region over the last couple of weeks. A monstrous snow storm blowing in overnight necessitated that we extend our stay by another night. Both our room and bathroom were very clean; the king bed was comfy; it was quiet up on the 4th floor; the breakfast selection was very good and fresh, and the coffee was hot. The daytime front desk supervisor (“Skyler”) was a true standout and a total pleasure to interact with: GREAT personality and SUPER helpful re: local restaurant recommendations! We happily recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again. Cheers!

Our stay here was very pleasant. All the staff was very nice, helpful & seem to love where they work and it showed. The room was very neat and clean. It had all the amenities that was needed for our trip and more. The continental breakfast was fresh and had lots to chose from. We will definitely plan to stay again in the future.

Staff were very friendly. Breakfast was fine - still hot options, but being served for health safety - with lots of seating inside and out. Room was small, clean, well-appointed, but was rough around the edges - blackout shade had holes, sofa cushions stained, shower fixtures and tile needed an update. My daughter and I got a good night’s sleep before her test, got a good breakfast, and we were pleased with our decision to stay there!

Not sure how this place has 4.3 stars. Our room was old, dirty, dusty, dingy and unclean (gross) ... see pics. I gave 2 stars for service as there were no tissues and only 4 paper towels when we arrived but the front desk attendant was apologetic and gave me 2 of each missing item. Location was fine.

The hotel is becoming well used and 'dated' looking. Our room could have used a deep clean especially around the walls in the bathroom. Hair and debris from previous occupation. Gross. This is not the quality Marriott is known for. Considering how close the hotel is to I-81, it was very quiet inside.
