TownePlace Suites by Marriott Rochester

So, we did not have a great stay. As a rewards member, was not greeted as such but whatever on that. Called Marriott service to make sure stay was hooked to the room. It was. Made requests on the app, never received them, only to see it marked as fulfilled later. Lots of parties going on. Pool water was cold. Very unpleasant. Room is dated with carpet frayed. King bed was a spring mattress... Weird choice. Breakfast on the weekend, on Sunday when we went, everything was pretty much eaten up by 837 and no one was refilling it. So that was not cool. It was just generally dated... Hot tub area has a ton of build up around it. Just general impressions of... Clean? But dated. A lot of apathy involved in the place. I've stayed several places in Rochester and never really felt that way. Hot

The worst, rundown TownePlace Suites I have ever stayed (I’ve been to over 30). Worst breakfast…. Cramped and crowded, dirty, terrible food. The room was old and smelly. The carpet was stained and disgusting. When I attempted to reach GM (Lynn Williams), she never returned my call. Poor customer service. Don’t stay here.

What a nice hotel. Rooms were clean and really nice. The pool was amazing for my three year old daughter. Nice water slides perfect for kids. Has a really nice kitchen in the room.

Positive: The space in the room. The full-size refrigerator and stove/oven. Negative: Nothing major really. The air conditioning in the bedroom did not work hardly at all on an incredibly hot humid evening.

So to start off I was in the wrong. I went to meet up with a friend staying in town. I went to the wrong hotel. My.mistake and i own that. She gave me her room number and I went to join her. I grabbed a coffee and an egg while I waited for her. I was confronted by the manager and accused of being a thief who was only there for food. He even accused me of being from another crappy motel. He requested the name and room number and I gave it willingly. He began accusing me of lying. Mind you I have stayed at this location long term in the past and spent a ton of money there. The manager recognized me as a past guest and still treated me horribly! I paid over $900 a week for multiple weeks. I dont need to steal your powdered eggs. It was an honest mistake. I didn't deserve for him to scream obs
