Staybridge Suites Rochester West, an IHG Hotel

I stayed at this location a couple of times while on a business trip during June of 2025. I was pleased with both stays. My rooms were clean and relatively quiet. I appreciated the kitchen with large refrigerator. The beds were comfortable. I would not hesitate to stay here again when traveling through Rochester. ||My only reasons for 4 stars over 5 are that the hallways smelled like dirty animals both times (it is a location that allows pets) although, thankfully, my rooms did not. I mention this because I know some people have serious allergies and this may be a concern. My other issue was with breakfast my second morning. It was, to put it mildly, a mess. It appeared that the area was woefully understaffed. The girl I saw working was trying very hard but she could not keep up. Food was

Very pleased with our stay. Staff was very pleasant. Nice breakfast area and complimentary breakfast was very tasty. Hotel has everything guest needs. Our room was very clean and beds were comfortable. We were very pleased as we were let to check in sooner then hotel's policy due to our inconvenient arrival time. Greatly appreciate staff for this.

Being near a Costco, a Cub foods and the main highways make this hotel a great choice for location. But it was noisy in the halls at night and in the morning their was drama at the front desk over that noise??? I don't know. The room was clean and comfortable but doors slammed and our neighbors loud til 12:30. The breakfast room wasn't clean and barely any breakfast options beyond cereal and fruit. The place just felt like a big chain hotel that wasn't perhaps doing its best. I had a much better Staybridge stay two years ago in North Dakota. It was very reasonable priced though and spacious room.

I’ve stayed here at least 3 times for work and it’s consistently been a great experience! The suites are spacious, spanking clean, and the beds are very comfy. The gym is good and the laundry room is a great bonus! I’ve always had a great night and woken up rejuvenated the morning after. Steven the General manager is incredibly polite and delivered great service. I’d love to be back!

I've stayed here many times, and once for 3 months. Was always good until now. They have many free rooms next to empty rooms and put me next to the loudest people in the hotel, paper-thin walls. You can hear when others flush. You can here people walking and stomping around you above you. My room didn't have a remote for the bedroom TV so I called and they said they would send someone up. Waited 40 minutes, called again "sorry, maintenance is busy with the pool, we'll get one to you asap" well it's 10:30 and it never came. Too bad I was gonna be very sympathetic and give him a tip, guess he gets nothing. Huge red stain on the floor. Flushed the toilet in the bathroom that literally only had a little ammount of toilet paper and it didn't even try: clogged immediately. Bathroom smells like o
