Residence Inn by Marriott Rochester Mayo Clinic Area South

We used the Residence Inn as our hotel for our wedding block and it was an overall great experience! The rooms are clean and spacious/comfortable. I was able to rent the meeting space for our girls getting ready area and they set up mirrors, tables, and the added mimosa bar for us all before 7:00 am Saturday morning! This is a great spacious room with natural lighting. We also utilized their bar for late night service after the wedding - they had plates and utensils available for us and it was wonderful for our guests!

We had to go to Mayo Clinic but didn't want to be downtown with all the construction going on. This hotel was perfect since it was less than 15 minutes via the free shuttle - but be sure to tip your shuttle drivers! But, the very best part was Kristi, one of the hotel employees who made our stay PERFECT in every way, including asking if we needed water each time we walked by, offering food suggestions nearby, plus she doubled as the bartender! She made sure that EVERYONE was greeted as they walked by and helped people to their rooms when needed. She was a perfect hostess and invaluable to this hotel! As others mentioned, the heated underground parking for $10 per night was worth it especially this week when the temps were down to -22 at night and -11 during the day. How great it was to le

We really enjoyed our stay! The parking underground was nice, though it was an additional cost. The EV charging (X2 Type 2 J1772) was in the underground parking garage, but the charging itself was free. Definitely worth the money when it was 55 degrees and -10 outside. The room was quite nice, though very dry, probably due to the aforementioned weather. The pool and hot tub were very nice and the hot tub was steaming hot! Breakfast was the standard fare, but we'll stocked and attended well. Everything was hot and ready during the stated hours. No complaints, just a great stay!

I stayed on the 2nd floor near the back stairs. This hotel is very quiet and very clean. The pool and whirlpool room is also super clean. Comfortable bed, and a very impressive breakfast. I will be staying there again. Kristi at the front desk was so helpful and friendly. Also, their shuttle will take you anywhere nearby, not just the clinic.

Hotel was very clean and comfortable. Pricey but definitely worth it. Water was hot just the way we like it. And the crushed ice in the ice machine makes us definitely coming back.But what made the stay A1 was a front desk personnel name Kristy whom was working by herself with a seemingly full house. She went above and beyond when our tv wouldn’t connect to the internet she tried everything she could to help even though it was too no avail we still enjoyed our stay and will definitely recommend this hotel.
