TownePlace Suites by Marriott Jacksonville

We were here for a local school competition, the hotel was still very fairly quiet, even though there were several there for the same event. Rooms were very comfortable, the dining space was very useful in getting our group together to prepare for our event. The breakfast was delicious, with so many different options! Waffles, eggs, bacon, omelets, yogurt bar, cereal! Something for everyone! Staff was friendly and helpful.

Positive: "" Negative: Breakfast was cold both days my family stayed there. The pool towels were crawling with bugs, they are kept outside but we told the day we swam was opening day for the pool. Both times i needed something from the front desk there was no employee around.

This hotel desperately needs remodeling. The walls and doors have dents and holes in them. The carpets are threadbare and have huge cut out spots in them, as if CSI had to remove sections of it. The parking lot is not safe. We saw a car had its back window busted out while parked there. I did not feel safe here. It definitely didn’t feel clean.

We had a great stay! We had the two bedroom suite and it was very comfortable. I love Marriott because I can bring my dogs with me when I need to make a quick trip somewhere and I dont want to Kennel them. I was in and out frequently with my dogs and everyone that worked there was so friendly. Everyone wanted to fuss over them and give them little dog bone treats. The breakfast was small and simple but very good and cooked just right. There was a variety of choices for everyone. Eggs, sausage, bacon, oatmeal, cold cereal, various pastries, milk, juice, just to name a few. I would definitely go back!

Nice Hotel! Great value! Awesome customer service! My family and I stayed two nights, and we were very comfortable. The breakfast area was nicely maintained and clean. Andrea, the front desk receptionist, was very friendly and provided helpful information. The General Manager, Jackie, takes pride in her hotel, which is evident by her interactions with employees and customers. I recommend the TownPlace Suites in Jacksonville, NC to anybody looking for a nice hotel and great customer service!
