MainStay Suites Jacksonville near Camp Lejeune

This was the most enjoyable experience I’ve ever had at a hotel, Jenny the night front desk made our stay 15/10 she was sooooo helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, as was the young man at the desk when I checked in (didn’t catch his name but I think I heard he was the manager) while there my in-laws came to visit, and said multiple times next time we visit our marine they want to book here, this is the highest of praise from them, my father in law traveled for business for a living, over 40 years of staying at hotels here and abroad, so for this one experience to stand out with him is amazing! Please keep the customer focus up, it was very noticeable and appreciated!

Room 313 still not clean after 2 years. Mark S provided a review in June 2023. That water spot in the tub is still there but this visit also included a puddle of rusty water. Walls looked damaged by water. The room smelled musty. The room did have a new refrigerator but the doors are on the wrong side. Brought concerns to the front desk and the three people behind conversing did nothing. One woman who was not working front desk did say they were working to get the doors reversed. If it's like the room the refrigerator fix would happen once it dies. ||The sanitation score was a 94 it should be 100. They are serving coffee and have snacks nearby to purchase. How hard is that to be clean? ||Cleanliness and customer service are not a priority. Can't fix issues after more than 2 years?!?! I

Beirut/memorial to remember 273 98% United States Marines who never returned home with us. Killed in action. And to enjoy my Marines who made it back home with me! Y'all also give us a Beirut Memorial Veterans discount which I thank you very much for. Rooms are very clean and the whole staff is very helpful and friendly.

The manager who was a male was completely rude and so was the black lady that works at night. They act like they are a 5 star hotel. Rude staff. Terrible service. Dont even waste your money.

Random things in the hotel observed. Lower elevator closest to front desk never worked the 4 days we were there. Coffee was luke warm. Housekeeping never came. Otherwise it worked for us & priced right.
