Hilton Garden Inn Jacksonville

The hotel itself is quite dated. We certainly didn't receive the warm American welcome that we were expecting, it was almost like we were an inconvenience ! Our room smelt of dog, so be aware if you are planning on staying here, to ask for a pet free room. We did everything we could to try and get rid of the smell but not very successfully ! We were advised about breakfast times at check in but were not advised that there was a fee for breakfast. We decided to have breakfast elsewhere as it was not very inviting at the hotel. I think the only redeeming feature was that it had aa good self service laundry ! I certainly wouldn't stay here again and would recommend choosing elsewhere if you're looking to stay in Jacksonville !

The hotel hosted our mom's 70th birthday. The restaurant inside the hotel called Lime and Lemon was superb and the hotel was very accommodating to our guests. The hotel itself was very neat and clean. The fire pits outside were very relaxing. We had no complaints. We will be definitely booking here again.

I stayed here for 2 weeks on a business related work trip. It was my 1st time at a Hilton hotel and the experience was a 3 out of 5 experience. I was in a KING SUITE which was a nice, SPACIOUS ROOM & the room service was on POINT. Every other day the room was cleaned, fresh linen and toiletries. My only complaint was the $11.99 breakfast buffet, if you want to even call it a buffet. Options are limited, everything looked bland. I didn’t even try the buffet even though it was an ALL EXPENSE paid. I went out to nearby restaurants for breakfast. Hilton is supposed to be a top standard in hospitality. It was decent enough even though it was a business trip. Nothing I’d spend out of pocket for.

After researching many hotels in the area, I booked this hotel based on the on-site restaurant Lime & Lemon. After check-in, we went down to the restaurant, only to find that Lime & Lemon had closed two days before our arrival. The replacement bar & grill offered very few items, the bar was poorly stocked, and the repeated explanation was, "We're transitioning." Very disappointing. The room itself was much more worn out and stained than expected. The couch had a white mystery stain between the cushions and a tear. Even the picture on the wall had stains! The staff were all very courteous and friendly. Overall, for the price, I'd look elsewhere.
