Town Liner Motel

My wife and I took our first trip to Washington Island this weekend to celebrate our wedding anniversary. I work as a DJ so we were booked for a wedding up here and the bride and groom were super nice and put us up in the Town Liner Motel. We had a WONDERFUL stay. ☺️ The staff was super friendly and accommodating when I had called for advance details about the stay, making sure I was taken care of. The room was super nice and the beds were comfortable! The motel itself is a short walk away from the Stavkirke (super cool) and the lavender farm, and a short drive from School House Beach. It’s also right around the corner from a convenience store which is nice! Would definitely stay again! Thank you so much for making our first stay on the island a special one. ☺️

The Townliner Motel is quaint, clean, and they do the small things great! Family owned and family run. They excel at customer service. Located close to the popular spots.

Honestly, Washington Island just wasn't for us. Restaurants are hit or miss....hope you like fish & don't like breakfast. The biggest ray of sunshine was the Town Liner Motel. The place was clean. The owner went above and beyond to be accommodating. Fire pit on property, charcoal grills, vending machine. It's within walking distance of the grocery store, a couple bars, the wooden stave church, etc. I wish we liked the island more because we'd stay here every year gladly.

Perfect location. The bed was so comfy, and the rooms were very clean. The owner was very friendly and gave us great information about the island. Everything closes at 6pm after labor day. Owner told us that, so we was able to get food and have a very relaxing night. There is a firepit and a grilled. Definitely will come back soon. Thank you Krista for being a wonderful host

Rooms were clean & spacious. Great hospitality. Centrally located. Really can't beat it.
