We enjoyed a wonderful one night stay at the inn, which is an old farmhouse. There are three rooms upstairs and one downstairs. You have to be able to to go up and down a narrow staircase to reach the second floor. Our room was charming, clean and comfortable. The innkeepers were friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast was set up in the kitchen in the morning, with Keurig cofee available. There was a lovely front porch for sitting and reading. We hope to stay here again if we return to the area.
This delightful spot is both serene and comfortable. It feels very private in your room. The big wrap around porch is the spot for coffee and relaxing. Our host was so kind and gracious. This is a special place run by a special family. They even have oat milk and almond milk for coffee. You feel at home but you are still on vacation.
We spent one night in room #3. It was perfect for the two of us with a comfy bed, CLEAN room, private bathroom with a shower. There is a small shared living room (no TV which was lovely) and kitchen as well as five acres of nature to explore. Dawn had continental breakfast awaiting us when we woke around 8 am. Bagels, cereal, yogurt, biscotti, coffee, tea, hard boiled eggs. Enjoyed breakfast on the huge porch - so peaceful. We will be back next time we are back on beautiful Washington Island.
My sister and I stayed overnight on a weekday in room 4, which has double twins. Dawn was very accommodating and left us a clipboard with a room key when she wasn't there to meet us in person. There wasn't any A/C, but we had a window and a ceiling fan and that kept us cool enough in mid-July. The wide front porch has a lot of charm and was a great place to have breakfast. There was a variety of foodstuffs available for breakfast, including fresh muffins, which was a great surprise. Very peaceful and a nice quite spot on the north side of the island. Right next to the Sievers School.
A beautiful farm with my room on the second floor. Everything I would need was provided. The coffee breakfast area was well stocked. I truly enjoyed my visit there.
