Four Elements Lodging

What a great experience we had with Four Elements Lodging! The innkeepers, Jackie and Gordon, are absolutely delightful! Jackie had some wonderful recommendations for us with dining, parks, and other activities. We tried to fit as much as we could into our short time on the island and it was well worth it! We really enjoyed biking to the Fragrant Isle with the bikes they have for guests. The cottage was very clean and inviting. We would absolutely go back and stay there again!

If you are planning a trip to Washington Island, Wisconsin, definitely stay in a cabin at the Four Elements. They are immaculate, light-filled and so comfortable. Everything is up to date. The cabins are new or recently renovated. The appliances and amenities are exactly what you would hope for and more than you would expect. Great coffee shop across the street. The property is quiet but really close to town, so the location is perfect. The owners are incredibly accommodating and helpful. I can't think of one complaint -- and that's not like me!

My fiance and I had a wonderful stay at Four Elements Lodging. The owners, Jackie and Gordon, were friendly and communicative, and they kindly let us check out a few hours later on our last day. The cabin we stayed in was so clean and fresh and truly a joy to spend time in. Many times we sat out on the little deck and enjoyed a meal or a drink. Every detail was so thoughtfully considered, down to specific towels, make-up wipes, a flashlight for stargazing at the beach, and all the components for making a nice cup of coffee. My favorite feature might have been the shower with just amazing water pressure! The area was quiet and centrally located within walking distance to places like Albatross Burger and Red Cup Coffee. I couldn’t have been happier with my accommodations at Four Elements Lodging. Clean, cozy and run by a friendly and very helpful couple, this place had everything I look for a place to stay when traveling. I will definitely go back.

Four Elements was beyond my expectations! I came for some relaxation time and a bit of business to check out a possible retreat location down the road. The cottage was impeccable, had a full size hair dryer, along with all the perfect amenities. The fireplace was a nice surprise - overall a very quality and comfortable place that made the week completely enjoyable. I highly recommend The Four Elements! The hosts Jackie and Gordon were helpful and very accommodating. Loved the little coffee shop just up the road and The Washington Hotel for dinner was a great treat. 5 stars all the way around!
