The Whitney Hotel Boston

A little late posting this review due to the holidays but wanted to make sure that The Whitney Hotel got the shout out it deserves! It was a wonderful stay!|| The hotel is all about comfort and great customer service. The room was spotless and felt welcoming. The bed was so comfortable-slept like a dream. Perfect spot to relax and unwind. The attentiveness and friendliness of the staff was top notch. They were readily available, professional and made check in/out seamless.||One other note: the location near the Beacon Hill section of Boston is prime. Was such a festive area to walk during Christmas with all the decorated row houses, little shops and great restaurants. Plus easily accessible to other areas of the city.||Can’t wait to go back!

The staff truly stood out—attentive, welcoming, and always happy to help with recommendations or special requests. The room was spacious, immaculate, and thoughtfully designed, offering a most comfortable retreat after a day of walking around the city. One of the highlights of the stay was breakfast in the restaurant. The food was delicious, beautifully prepared, and a great way to start the morning. My husband & I stayed one night prior to my having surgery at MGH the next day. The hotel was warm and inviting on a cold stormy night and our room was really beautiful & cozy and everything you would expect in a luxury boutique hotel. We were on the 1st floor at the end of a quiet hall. The lobby was decorated for Christmas with the fireplace being a lovely centerpiece. Staff were very personable and we were greeted with some hot chocolate upon checking in which was much appreciated. Housekeeping staff were friendly & helpful and pointed out the pantry on our floor and all the complimentary items available to us anytime. We definitely plan to stay here again at some point in the future.

Check-in was seamless and welcoming, instantly setting the tone for a wonderful visit—made even better by the delicious hot chocolate, which felt like such a thoughtful touch. The staff were incredibly kind, friendly, and accommodating throughout our stay, always ready with a smile and happy to help. Our room was beautiful, with large windows and a delightful view of the city. The bed was very comfortable. The location on Charles Street is perfect—charming, walkable, and full of character. We also loved spending time at The Peregrine, a truly lovely spot to relax and enjoy the atmosphere.
