J. Miller Flats by Thatch - Beacon Hill

Wonderful stay on Charles Street! Fantastic location/neighborhood with coffee shops, pubs, bookstores, and cute shops. Three bedroom unit was perfect for our family get together (5 of us). Parking spot was very convenient to have also! Recommend extra blankets for winter- it was cold at night- so we wore extra clothes when sleeping.

J. Miller Flats was the perfect home base for our family trip to Boston. The location can't be beat -- Tatte bakery for breakfast is less than a block away and Charles/MGH station is also close by. Our room was clean, comfortable, and ready for us upon arrival. Our son slept on the pull-out couch, which was surprisingly comfy. There was very minimal noise from other guests and much less city noise than in other places we've stayed in Boston. We enjoyed staying here so much more than in a large hotel!

We stayed here for 3 nights while moving my son into an apartment nearby in Beacon Hill. We chose it mainly for the location and parking, but I left early on Day 3 of a 5-night reservation as the experience fell short. We love staying at J. Miller Flats! Not only is it a great location in Beacon Hill, with stores and restaurants right outside your door, it also checks all the boxes you would expect: clean room, comfy bed, easy entry. But what we really love is these flats all have kitchens! That makes it so easy to stock a few things for a lazy, cozy breakfast instead of deciding then waiting to be fed somewhere, or a yummy home cooked meal so we can visit with our family there just like home! Thatch will even send you a link to have your groceries delivered so they will be there when you arrive. This location makes our visits to Boston extra special.

The flat was a perfect location. It was very clean and had everything we needed. We purchased the parking spot which was very helpful. We'd definitely stay here again.
