The Westin Tysons Corner

I like to stay in a Hilton when I travel for work but the prices for this last trip were high so I found this Westin. Wow. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed. I arrived after midnight and was immediately greeted with such warmth, interest and helpfulness. My room was clean and updated and the elevators super fast. Every day afterwards, I couldn't help but notice how consistently friendly and helpful all staff were. They genuinely seemed to like their jobs. I will definitely stay here again. The only negative is how hard it is to get out of the hotel on weekday mornings. The light is terrible!

My husband and I recently stayed here for a staycation, switching it up. Sometimes I just like to stay in a hotel, OK? Although this hotel is listed as a 4 star hotel, I would rate it solidly mid. The service wasn't terrible but wasn't great. Walking past the lobby desk you have a 50/50 chance of getting a smile from one of the other staff, or that one grumpy lady I saw both during night and day shift. Room service was, as one would expect, priced similarly to airports, more expensive than if you ate locally, but I will say that the food was good at least. The room service food ordering is the standard "Tap Taste Go" that I've seen at other Marriott properties, and this one was no exception. Marie at the front desk was very accommodating. Josie, our mini-schnauzer was greeted warmly by all hotel staff and several guests. Our King room was attractive and practical. Plenty of 110 and USB charging ports. I wish I had been able to cast my iPad video to the 40” inch screen on the wall.||I had a very good experience at the bar/lounge. The garlic and honey glazed salmon was perfect. It was a generous portion served over brown rice with two baby Bok Choy. The fish arrived hot in a hot bowl. The Pinot Grigio was tasty as was the apple strudel accompanied by vanilla ice cream. The bartender and server were friendly without being intrusive. ||The pet exercise area is a little sparse. We would not hesitate to stay at this excellent hotel🤪😡😃

Positive: The hotel staff is always very nice and professional. The rooms are clean and the location is great. Negative: The bar area could be a little better. Maybe rearrange some things and have live music or music over a sound system. May draw more people there.

We stayed here after my husband's company Christmas party. While the hotel itself didn't seem impressive, the staff and service made all the difference. Marie (who normally works at the Crystal City Westin) checked us in and was absolutely amazing! She was so pleasant and helpful and she made us feel so welcome. Brooklyn (front desk) was also great. Our room was very clean and also very quiet. The decor for the party was beautiful and the waitstaff during the party couldn't have been better. They were very efficient and attentive and gracious. Overall a great experience and stay!
