Positive: Location and breakfast Negative: It's an odd way to get in in to the hotel off of US. 50 eastbound

If you're looking for a swimming pool, it's "out of order." When we arrived at 6:00 pm on 10/29/2025 there wasn't anyone to check us in, after an extended wait, I picked up their phone and dialed for assistance, no answer. Because nobody was around, I decided to check out the pool that was right around the corner from the front desk and found a sign that said "We're sorry for the inconvenience. Temporarily out of order October 28, 2025--January 31, 2026." NOT HAPPY! We had driven from Wisconsin with our 12-year-old grandson to find out that we won't have a pool. There are 3 things I always look for in a hotel, and they are good guest ratings, safe location & a pool. When the front desk person finally got to the desk, I inquired about this and he said "sorry, but it's out of order." I asked

The workers who're responsible for the morning breakfast food really need to stop watching the guest as they eat. No one is going to steal the food, so relax. Other than the workers staring at me and my coworkers during our stay everything else was great.

Unfortunately this location fell flat all i was looking for was a nice location with a pool for the kidsand a nice breakfast, no one bothered to either update the website or tell us that their poll was closed, I also had to wait seating on the floor in front of both of our rooms because the doors were no working not once but twice. Then the only person managing the place very nice fellow was supposed to credit us back for parking when I went to check out they knew nothing about it so I had to basically argue with the front desk. Still waiting for a refund. A bit disappointed.

This is my first time staying at this hotel and let me tell you that this is the worst hotel i’ve stayed at. We just ate downstairs for breakfast. Breakfast was fine but the workers were not friendly. Breakfast ends at 10am and it was 9:55. I decided to grabbed a few plastic plates and bowls to bring back upstairs because I had some leftover food for lunch and dinner if I don’t feel like ordering and don’t feel like waiting for housekeeping to bring me plates and bowls. Then this one worker, she decided to come up to me and tell me that we can’t grabe any because there’s none left? When there’s a lot on the other side of the counter. And it was only 5 mins left for breakfast too. And she decided to tell her other co worker about what happened in spanish and they were looking at me like I d
