The Westin Richmond

Great hotel in convenient location for NY/FLa drive if prefer a more upscale hotel close to halfway; it's only a couple of exits west off i95 with free self parking. The rooms have been updated recently with very comfy bedding, and while it is right by the i64 it was super quiet absolutely no outside noise. Also, it's nice that it has a lounge on 7th floor for quick plat breakfast. Overall, great night off rest, which is exactly what I needed!! I've already put in reservation for next time I'll be making the trip 😎

We stayed in a lovely suite on the 7th floor where we had access to the concierge lounge, which we visited in the evening and again for breakfast in the morning. Hotel staff was very friendly. There’s a path around a pond adjoining the property which was a great place for walking our dogs. Room decor was nice, very clean and comfortable. The room included Westin White Tea bath products, which are some of the best hotel shampoos or soaps I’ve encountered in my travels. Nice place overall.

My family has been to Richmond many weekends for Youth sports - This hotel is by far my favorite. The facilities are top notch and the staff members truly outstanding. My specific experience was with Barbara Yane - her hospitality was infectious. She was hosting a happy hour and she had at least a dozen hotel goers mesmerized by her charm. Ms Barbara made my stay and when in Richmond its Weston.

Our stay at the Westin in Richmond was perfect, it was right off of the highway. Although we did not have reservation we were treated as if we had stayed at the facility as regulars! The greeting by the front desk gentleman was beyond superb! He was patient, kind & friendly. We were given true red carpet treatment & stayed in a well appointed king suite. The accommodations were just phenomenal! Thank you Westin, because of how much we enjoyed our stay we chose Marriott Bonvoy properties during our 5 days of travel!

One of those hotels that look and advertise as luxe but actually has little to no amenities besides the heated pool and tvs with Youtube. Desk staff is extremely helpful and the hotel itself is a safe and clean environment. Rooms are basic hotel rooms, no microwaves and stains on carpet in some rooms. Housekeeping can be annoying, be warned they do come by knocking every two hours after 12pm checkout even with DND on the door, some don’t knock and will dang near try to break the door down to get in. Restaurant downstairs is very expensive for what it is and is always empty as expected. There are definitely other hotels in the area with better amenities and benefits, at a cheaper price point.
