Customer Reviews
I have stayed here several times, as my daughter and son-in-law live in San Francisco and I access healthcare through UCSF. I have been very happy with all of my stays here. V, the person I largely know at the site, is so helpful, polite, friendly and professional. The rooms are very clean, comfortable and updated. The location is amazing, right next to Ocean Beach. It feels safe and secure here. Food is nearby (we love Hook Fish, a short walk away). The coffee shop next door is also wonderful. Free parking! Transportation is right next to the site. I am very happy I found this little Inn in the Sunset District and will continue to stay here whenever possible. I highly recommend staying here on your next trip to San Francisco. Thank you, V!
We had to call our booking site and have them get us a refund after learning there was no way for me (a wheelchair user) to get to our room. The hotel’s website claimed the hotel was ADA accessible and I’m an ambulatory wheelchair user so as long as it’s just one night I usually make do without a specific ADA room and save those for people who can’t walk a few steps. I just need to be able to get TO the room but this hotels definition of ADA accessible is up 1 flight of stairs and then having a room close to the stairs. Thank God we booked and ensured our trip with a good company that immediately got us a refund and a new hotel.
The hotel itself is old with no elevators but the service is decent and parking is free. There is no breakfast but there is a microwave in the room. It is located on the beach side of the Golden Gate Park, with excellent walking trails and easy roads to the Pacific Ocean. An excellent view of the Golden Gate Bridge can be reached by car in 8 minutes and 40 minutes by foot.
The Seascape Inn has some positives on paper, but unfortunately our stay fell short overall due to cleanliness and comfort issues. The location is genuinely good, right by the beach with easy tram access, which makes getting around San Francisco simple and convenient. Free parking is also a plus, especially in this area, though it’s first come first served and very tight, so not ideal if you have a larger car. Free Wi-Fi was another highlight, with surprisingly strong and stable speeds close to 100 Mbps both up and down. The bed itself was comfortable, and the toilet and bathroom appeared clean. However, despite this, we didn’t feel comfortable using the shower because of other issues in the room. Unfortunately, the cons outweighed the pros. The room had a strong dusty/damp smell that caus
Great location in Ocean Beach. Java Beach Cafe next door offering excellent expresso drinks and pastries. Room was large for SF and even had a loveseat. Exceptionally comfortable king bed. Full flow shower. Nothing fancy, but just right for us since we had a car on this visit and wanted to be located near the ocean, Golden Gate Park, and hiking trails in the Presidio.
