The Sahara Inn long term stay

Roaches problem, barely in the office when said, cash only but no ATM on site (used to, they had to take it down because it almost never worked) neighbors fighting outside at night, cats all over (there was a possum once, told management about it and they got happy saying "oh yes, he eats the cat food we leave out isn't he cute) NO, THAT DUDE WAS A SOLID 30 POUNDS. Mold on the paintings in personal room, tub is funky (faucet leaks when showerering, tub drain catches, shower head installed low, water spotty on getting hot, caulking has mold spots). Floors are laminate with bubbles under it, mini fridge can't freeze, they provide nothing (no tp, no soap, no towels, barely any blankets or pillows for bed). My boyfriend and I were there for the Beirut Memorial service held on Oct 23rd 2010. We stayed for 4 nights.||Our room was economical and not the Taj Mahal but for our trip was very good. The linens were used for sure but looked clean and the bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept in. The room was clean and did not smell of anything. It was very quiet outside and we slept very well. We had clean towels every day and the trash taken out. The staff was very friendly and eager to please. ||I would stay there again.

These people are DISGUSTING and DISRESPECTFUL, a few hours ago the lady at the front desk kicked me my 4 MONTH OLD SON and bf out because of a misunderstanding and someone mixing our words around. They called 4 police officers being overdramatic ofc and they attacked my bf while our son is there and the old lady threatened to take our son away if we don't get off of the property. These people have no sense , doesn't care about wth they are doing and as long as they get their money they could care less what happens to a child. They have roaches , bed bugs , mold and a really bad odor smell from the AC System my bf and I have gotten bit NUMEROUS of times and on our faces thankfully our son didn't because he had his bassinet. ROACH INFESTED. Extremely dirty. Room looked as if it had not been cleaned for a long time. Heavy smell of cigarettes. We viewed the room momentarily after a really stressful day and didn't look close enough. The motel 6 is right next door and only $20 more for a week. Do yourself the favor and go there if you're budgeting.

Lots of hair in the shower. Shower floor was dirty. Stains on small bath towels. The small towels were the largest they had. I felt like I was dirtier after the shower than before. A/C works like crap. I'm finding a different place to stay tomorrow night. Gross, gross, gross. If I didn't need a shower I would have just slept in my car.
