The Ridge at Horizons: A Wellness Retreat

Just finished a week at Movara East - I am sleeping better, able to fight through my late-night cravings, enjoyed beautiful hikes through lush forests, challenged in fun exercise classes, ate delicious and healthy food (and am coming away with some new favorite recipes), and felt like a VIP guest thanks to the staff who were ready to help with whatever we needed. I had a very relaxing foot treatment, enjoyed soothing my aching muscles in the hot tub, and loved their brand new equipment and indoor sports fields. It was wonderful to be in such a safe environment that supported my goals and helped jump start some healthy changes. I haven’t had my final weigh in, but have undoubtedly lost fat, gained muscle, endurance, flexibility, and clarity. Huge thank you to the Movara East team!!

My sister and I went for a health and wellness retreat for a week and loved the location, activities, hiking and delicious meals! The staff was great and so attentive in accommodating everyone’s special needs and concerns! We lost weight and improved our overall health!

Although the draw to The Ridge is its all-inclusiveness and focus on health, the uniqueness of it is the ability of the staff to individualize your overall fitness needs. The unsuspecting relationships formed on the hikes, with the manager, chef, and highly educational and informed nutritionists and instructors made the experience one of a lifetime. I move better with my son, more energy for yard work, and am sleeping better then ever before. Highly recommend.
