Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Harrisonburg

This hotel offered a really nice stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout our visit. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy, which made everything stress-free. The breakfast had a good variety and was a great way to start the day. The location was perfect for getting around town and exploring nearby attractions. Overall, it was a convenient, comfortable, and pleasant stay I would definitely recommend it.

In above average Marriott Fairfield with a good free breakfast buffet. Most rooms offer a tiny parlor with a huge TV as an extra bonus.|Unfortunately, the reception was spotty with the desk staff not being familiar whether the handicap rooms had walk-in showers or tubs. Otherwise a good stop.

We called before booking to make sure the pool and hot tub were open. We were told specifically "yes, the pool and hot tub are both open and heated." Upon checking in, we found the hot tub has been closed and the pool is not heated. Families rely on correct communication when making decisions like booking a hotel. Please clearly communicate the current state of amenities so that families can make their decisions with confidence. The facilities were excellent and in great shape. Breakfast was the average hotel breakfast with decent options. The buffet area was very clean and fresh. Staff were excellent hosts. Rooms were clean. The pool bottom has several spots that are damaged, but did not affect the kids enjoying the cold plunge. We would still stay again.

Front desk staff was so so friendly and most everything was great! Our room didn't have a TV remote so we had to go borrow one from the front desk, and I found an old french fry by the bed. Everything else seemed clean. The pool was a nice temperature and the hot tub was great - if not a little too hot. We had to take breaks from it pretty frequently. Pool towels could be restocked more often. Always love hotel waffles. More fresh fruit options would be nice at breakfast. Overall a great stay!

The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and check-in was super smooth — no waiting, no hassle. The entire place is spotless, and my room was exceptionally clean and well-kept, which made the stay feel even more comfortable. Everything about this hotel exceeded my expectations, from the atmosphere to the level of service. I genuinely enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and enjoyable place to stay. I’ll definitely be returning!
