Customer Reviews
Very nice hotel above average. Rooms and bedding items are immaculately clean, including the extremely nice and well appointed kitchenette areas which can get nasty. Rooms are nice size and the bathroom is huge and the design is excellent.||Breakfast is good and a great selection of above average quality items but the hotel struggled to keep it adequately stocked during the breakfast rush across all items, on a Sat AM. The location of the waffle maker needs to move to a more open area to accommodate the crowds easier. Also consider extending hours to 10:30 to better accommodate the demand.||Pool and fitness areas above average and lobby is well designed and can accommodate lots of people comfortably.
My husband and I traveled with our 21 and 18 yr old children. The room was perfect for all of us. It was roomy (2 queen beds with a pull out couch), clean, and quiet. The beds were comfortable and the sheets felt soft. The extra linens for the pull out couch included a heavy waffle blanket, but the front desk staff offered us a down blanket as well. Sydney, who worked the front desk, was friendly, helpful, and had impeccable manners. Breakfast was plentiful and the area well stocked and clean. Lots of tables and cozy nooks in which to eat or enjoy coffee or read. The morning staff working the kitchen and front desk were also friendly and accommodating. The only negatives would be the hallway carpet - it looked like it had not been vacuumed for quite some time. The floor of the elevator als
Grace at the front desk was amazing! Our stay at Home2 Suites in Harrisonburg was fantastic! The rooms were impeccably clean and incredibly spacious, easily accommodating our family of four. The location couldn't have been better – a grocery store right nearby, and tons of restaurants just a short drive away. The beds were super comfy, and we really appreciated having enough room for a baby playpen. The included breakfast was a huge plus, with plenty of delicious options to choose from. The partial kitchen was also a great feature, especially with the option to request a stovetop. What really stood out was the staff – they were absolutely delightful and always ready to help. The parking in the rear was super convenient, making it easy to get into the building and closer to our room. We h
Stayed at the Home 2 Suites Thanksgiving night with my wife, two kids, and I. Got into the hotel after an evening of driving. Initial check-in was fine, but upon entering our room discovered it was HOT. As we unpacked tried to use the AC to adjust the room temp so realize it’s not working, just fan, no AC. When attempting to get help with this issue had multiple staff tried to educate me on how to use an AC unit , as if I’ve never used one. Simple, condescending instructions like “the unit has to be on cool to cool”… I politely expressed multiple times that I had followed all the instructions they had given us at check in on how to use the AC successfully. Only until I remarked that I was aware of how AC units work was someone willing to look at the unit. With a quick review of the unit
I wish I could give 4.5 stars. The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly. The room had a "full kitchen" which means an apartment size refrigerator, toaster, microwave and a dishwasher. The do have skillets and a hot plate for those who ask. A large TV and a comfortable bed too. It would have been nice if the heat/AC had an "on" setting for the fan. It cycled on/off every minute or so. Not super annoying but distracting none the less. An "on" setting is nice to block out noise and I see that option at many hotels. Breakfast was pretty good although I am undecided about there hot food case. It's not the normal steam table for hot food but the food in there (eggs, French toast, egg bites, biscuits, hash browns) was not very hot and kind of dry.
