Holiday Inn Express & Suites Harrisonburg – University Area by IHG

Excellent location last area off interstate north that has so much in the area. There are many place to eat but Texas Roadhouse is directly across the street.Wallmart is in the shopping center just below. Hotel was clean ,beds were very very soft (Goldlylocks soft) now for the toilets.. If you are tall be warned these toilets are very low sitting. Tv is a great picture but channels are blah no weather channels available except i saw one on at the breakfast tv. Breakfast was not the best i have had at other locations as we use Holiday inn express when we travel. The turkey sausage eas dark and dry, the western omelet was watery in the center. It was doable but like I mentioned could have been better. It was clean and neat in the breakfast area.

Hotel appearance, friendly staff, rooms were clean, elevator was fast and Quiet. Plenty of restaurants to dine at, location was easy to get to and right off I-81. Beds were very clean and comfortable, room was quiet and clean. Bathroom was spotless.|My only suggestion is, have two comfortable chairs to sit on! |Would definitely stay here again

This hotel is exactly what you want when traveling. The staff is friendly and professional, the rooms are very clean and well appointed. The beds are comfortable and accessing the internet is very easy. The breakfast is complimentary and has a great selection of items to choose from. The eating area like the rooms is very well maintained and clean. If you have forgotten anything small that you need, you can check with the front desk and they will likely be able to help (toiletries and such). I stayed at this hotel while traveling and will absolutely stay again and recommend that anyone who will be in the area do so as well. It’s very easy on and off of the interstate which is another perk.

The location was central to Manny stores, restaurants and JMU. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were pretty nice, clean and with great soap and lotions. The only issue (and this is a big one for me) was the shower; the water pressure was weak and it didn't really get hot enough.

Great experience! Traveled for the holidays with 3 young children and my husband. Really love that you can turn the fan on in the room to drown out outside noise. The hotel was clean and the service was fantastic! The beds were comfy and water pressure strong. Thank you!
