Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Harrisonburg, VA

We chose to stay at the Country Inn & Suites based on their outstanding reviews, and overall it was a nice, comfortable stay. The room was clean and well maintained, and the hotel itself felt welcoming. The pool was warm, which we appreciated, though the water was a bit cloudy during our visit. Breakfast was okay, but we would have loved to see a few more options, especially some additional hot items. We experienced very little road noise and a quiet and peaceful stay. The only downside for us was the bed, which felt quite firm and could have been more comfortable. That said, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider staying here again.

Our suite was clean and comfortable. Beds and pillows were comfortable. The breakfast was sufficient. Location was truly good - gas station on the corner. A diner within walking distance. The staff was pleasant and professional. We truly enjoyed our stay.

We were greeted warmly by the lovely Ines upon arrival which was great after a long drive. The lobby is welcoming and nicely y decorated. Christmas theme is pretty but I wish we didn’t have to skip right over Thanksgiving like it doesn’t exist. Our room appeared clean but we were greeted with an off putting aroma upon entering the room, my best guess is the bathroom drains need to be cleaned. Room had everything we needed and the shower was great, temperature and pressure on point! Desk and chair probably needs to be replaced. Bedding was not luxurious but sufficient. I give the highest praise and marks for the hotel encasing the mattress to protect against bedbugs. I wish all hotels did this, it is so relieving as a traveler to know the management takes prevention seriously!

We really appreciated the style and simplicity of this Choice hotel! The service was stellar. Breakfast was good. Room was lovely. Also loved the green choice of having lotion/shampoos etc in refillable wall containers! Couple tiny complaints Our room heat/ac unit would not allow us to turn off the fan - it had a button for continuous but said button would not turn off. We were forced to unplug the unit entirely. Also there was only one coffee for two people - probs an oversight.

We stayed here for a night on our way down south and it was a pleasant experience. The breakfast and coffee was phenomenal, the staff were all friendly and our room spacious. We didn't use the pool but we did see they had a indoor pool as well. The location was very convenient as well. Our room did have a slight smell to it but everything felt clean so that was OK. I think for the price this is as good as it gets.
