Comfort Inn & Suites Harrisonburg

We were very pleased with the hotel, with one significant exception. The front desk was fine. Breakfast was very good and the kitchen was well maintained. The room was comfortable and clean. The one exception was the fact that on the morning we checked out there was no hot water in the shower. None. If it were not for the lack of hot water and our ability to shower, our rating would have been a 10. I’ve never been to a hotel that ran out of hot water.

This is a very nice, quiet, inexpensive hotel. I couldn't believe how quiet it was for my Saturday night stay. My room was very nice; comfy bed, nice bathroom, big shower with good water pressure. The hotel has a great little gym with 2 treadmills and also has a clean, inexpensive guest laundry facility on site. Breakfast was nice with a good variety of options. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful.

This was a perfect hotel stay! It sits right in the middle of everything; food, shopping and dinning. The breakfast was great too. If Im ever in the area again, this will be where I’ll continue to stay.

It was parent's weekend and I decided late that I would visit so I was unable to get a reservation where I always stay. The Comfort Inn & Suites was one of the only places (dog friendly) with availability at the time I made my reservation. I was a little uncertain because I had never stayed here before. The lobby was clean and welcoming upon arrival. The gentleman who checked me in was very quiet so I was a little unsure how to feel about that. There was very little conversation, he asked for my identification and a credit card and then minutes later slid my key across the counter. With some trepidation I went up to my room and to my relief the room was way more than I was expecting. Honestly the room was very similar to what I've stayed in at Hotel Madison and the Hyatt. Unfortunately, the Choice app required an update before finalizing my reservation and reverted back to the current day. Since I knew that I entered the correct date, I did not realize until I drove 8 hours and went to check in and was told my reservation was for the previous night. After being a Choice member for many years, and dealing with other issues, I will no longer patronize Choice Hotels. I have other hotel memberships and believe there are better options available where Customer service is a higher priority.
