The Peaks Resort & Spa

While the property has several positive attributes, there are areas that would benefit from improvement. The guest rooms appear dated and are in need of updating. The thermostats allow only limited functionality which essentially means heat on or off. This makes maintaining a comfortable room temperature challenging. Additionally, the beds and pillows do not feel commensurate with the price point of the accommodations. On a positive note, the elevators are modern and efficient, utilizing smart technology that ensures prompt access with minimal wait times. The ski valet staff were courteous and helpful; however, the service can become significantly congested during peak morning hours (approximately 8:30–10:00 a.m.). Horrible experience. Arrogant front desk staff that reflects any complaints. Great bones of a building but horrible staff training. Whoever is the GM had never had an ounce if humility. The “food” and beverage offerings are a joke. No real restaurant or room service, which was promised before booking. There any many better places to stay than here. This is at best a 2 star experience.

We visited The Peaks Resort and Spa in early October, and from the moment we stepped out of the car, we were greeted with friendly faces and genuine warmth. At check-in, Tyler welcomed us with a kind smile and made us feel instantly at home. He went out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed and assured us that any request was never a bother. EJ was wonderful throughout our stay—each time we called the front desk for something we’d forgotten, he responded quickly and always with such kindness. At the concierge desk, Ashley was an absolute delight—her energy was contagious! She greeted us enthusiastically, full of helpful ideas and excitement about the property and its surroundings. Not quite a perfect stay, but the staff went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and well accommodated when skiing was only available for a small portion of our vacation. The location is as good as it gets if you plan to ski, spa facilities are world class, and staff is A+! Thank you!
