Dunton Town House

My husband and I recently stayed here as part of our Honeymoon road trip and I have to say we were completely blown away by how awesome it was. For us what that meant was that the Manager Gareth who runs the place was so attentive to us and almost anything we could want, and still provided us privacy and a very beautiful place to stay in. Our room was quite literally, impeccable. Everything so well taken care of and beautifully curated while still being cozy and welcoming. Basically we could go on and on; between the very thoughful breakfast provided each morning to the incredable proximity of the place to downtown and wonderful places to eat....we can not wait to come and visit again! Stayed in the large room Mantei for the third time, and really love it. Great views and lots of windows, along with a comfortable seating area and a big bathroom. The inn is near both Telluride’s main street and the free gondola, but quiet. Felicia and Bill, the innkeepers, are both so hospitable, and we enjoy having breakfast in the light-filled front room.

Another good stay in Telluride. Dunton Townhouse is within walking distance of everything in Telluride. Mantei room has great views and a comfortable seating area, with a balcony and lots of windows. Bathroom very nice, big shower. Hirsch room also has mountain views. Innkeepers welcoming and provide a delicious breakfast. Common areas lovely, and the Gmunder Austrian china used is enchanting.

My husband and I took a two road trip this last month and decided to include a few nights in Telluride at the Dunton Town House. It is now our new favorite place to visit and stay. The hotel itself is super cute, it's small, I think there are 5 room total but the property is immaculate and our room was fantastic. The room was spacious, cozy and so pretty, we had a great bathroom with a sky light and heated floor (I am a sucker for those radiant heated tile floors, ah they are heaven) there were great views of the mountains and we even had a little patio. I worked in the skincare business for years and they had Aesop toiletries which are amazing, plus a little jar of bath bombs to use also. The staff was so amazing, Elyse (sorry if I spell it wrong...) took great care of everything we neede

This is a truly unique place with great charm and within walking distance of everything in town! Felicia and Bill were wonderful hosts and provided us a wealth of insight on the history, things to do and places to eat. We had a fantastic time and really enjoyed the Gams room! The fall is a beautiful time to see Telluride and the Dunton Townhouse made it a special anniversary and first time visit for us!
