Madeline Hotel & Residences, Auberge Collection

Our trip to the Madeline in Telluride was made extra special this Christmas, all thanks to Heather! She was so responsive to our booking needs, calling me right back to find a room combo that would work for our multi-generational trip. She was also incredibly hospitable, and our gratitude carries with us beyond our trip.||||We were so well cared for by every member of the staff—from check-in, ski valet, and the restaurants (sending our best wishes to Claudia at the Black Iron Grill!) to room service (Thank you, Baola!), the afternoon apple cider attendants, the staff at the Timber Room, and especially housekeeping. Staff went above and beyond to make this trip special for my son who just finished chemotherapy! Everyone was so warm and friendly and definitely knew us by name. From the manager, to the front desk staff, to the concierge, to the restaurant servers, everyone was warm and friendly. Room was clean with wonderful amenities. And, such a nice touch to gift drinks and stuffed animals (for the kids) upon arrival. The treats waiting in the room for my son were wonderful and so thoughtful. Love the Madeline Hotel and Mountain Village. We cannot wait to come back and stay longer!

We just left the Madeline after a 4 night stay and we left a bit disappointed. The hotel seems to be under new management and it shows. The communication between us and the front desk was lacking. My husband called down asking for 4 decaf coffee pods for the Nespresso machine. A carafe of coffee was delivered and we refused it. My husband then called the front desk again and this time 4 cups of espresso were delivered, he again refused it. No effort was made to make it right. The Maid surface continually left water without glasses for us to drink out of and we had to call down and ask for glasses every day. We stayed here for a week in winter and fell in love! The service was 5 star, the room for as amazing and so was most of the food we tried at the restaurants. The hot tub was amazing too! We would absolutely come back. My fiancé loved it!

My goodness. I don’t know where to start. The resort was breathtaking both inside and out and the customer service is absolutely unmatched. From the moment you arrive outside, to check in, getting in your room, during your stay and upon check out, the friendly and service is top tier. The true key to my heart is when people love on my children and they are such a kid friendly facility! They offered our toddler a precious stuffed animal upon arrival and even gave him a complimentary kids book which was all about Colorado and the gondolas which he quickly became obsessed with. The room was so spacious, every detail thought of. Top of the line appliances and bathroom features (heated floors, shower steamer, huge tub etc) elevators worked so quickly which can sometimes be tricky at a resort. W
