The Hotel Telluride

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at The Hotel Telluride! From start to finish, every little detail exceeded my expectations. One of the first things I noticed was the thoughtful touches that really made the experience special. The free chapstick provided in the room was such a nice surprise, perfect for those dry mountain days! The hot coffee available in both the room and the lobby was a real treat, especially for early mornings or just to unwind after a day of exploring. And the premium hot chocolate in the lobby? Absolutely delicious and the perfect way to cozy up after skiing or hiking, Liquid IV, no worries, also available for free in the lobby. Comfortable space and clean. The lobby is lovely and inviting. Friendly and helpful hosts. We went during off season. There’s probably more service when things are hopping. Some of their services were unavailable but the price we paid to stay was reduced accordingly. I feel that is fair. I’d stay there again!

We had an excellent stay at Hotel Telluride. The staff were super helpful and were able to accommodate us well. Our room was comfortable and spacious. In town for a wedding, the hotel was located super conveniently. It’s really easy to walk in town for meals but they also have a shuttle that will take you anywhere in town. The lobby has free coffee all day. I used the gym a couple of times and it worked for what I needed.

The hotel location is great. It is walking distance to a lot of eateries and shopping places. You can also park overnight on the street. It is also near to the Telluride Historical Museum. Will stay again if I return to Telluride

The kitchen/restaurant was closed my entire stay, 11/30-12/5. No explanation and a huge inconvenience. The “shuttle” appeared to be nonfunctioning even though I was told to just ask for a ride. Consequently I found myself walking at 7 am in a snowstorm up to the Butcher and Baker for breakfast in the morning in order to make my class. The hotel was 3/4 empty but apart from one friendly desk clerk I spoke to twice there was no service. Most of the time no one was at the desk. There was one long haired woman who got real snippy when I asked about dining. After that a tape and chairs were put up blocking off the restaurant area. I checked out a day early due to my program ending early because of an impending snowstorm. I was threatened with an early check out fine in addition to my paying
