Ice House Suites & Condominiums

We stayed in a Deluxe Suite at the Ice House Suites and Condos in Telluride and had a mixed experience. The suite itself was clean, spacious, and well-appointed, with a small kitchen, a full bathroom, and a convenient half bath. The king-size bed in the bedroom was comfortable, and the location can’t be beat, just steps from downtown, the river trail, and the gondola. The outdoor pool and hot tub area was beautiful, with stunning mountain views. However, there were a few drawbacks. The pull-out couch in the living room, which served as a second sleep space, was angled upward and not very comfortable, sleepable, but definitely not ideal. We stayed in a one bedroom condo (302 I think). Decent partial mountain view. Very clean and well maintained. GREAT location. Only complaint was even with the heater in our until switched off, it still got a bit over-warm in our unit. Definitely recommend this place and would definitely book here again in the future.

Everything about this place was amazing. The checkin was super easy, excellent covered parking, super close to the gondola, shops and restaurants, the pool, steam room and hot tub were immaculate, the laundry was amazing (and complementary), and to sum it up, the room was fantastic. Probably the nicest vacation rental my family has ever stayed in. We will be back. We stayed in room 202.

Really enjoyed our 5 night stay at the Ice House. For skiing you can’t beat the one block stroll to the town gondola or chair 8. Room 306 was brand new, two super comfortable beds, 1.5 large well appointed baths, small ideal kitchenette. Cool and comfortable furnishings. Hot tub and pool/steam room area is great. Impeccable housekeeping. Lots of great hooks for ski gear everywhere. Free Starbucks every AM right outside of our room. Only cons: no fireplace was a bummer. You have to check in next door at Camel Garden hotel and they walk you over (no biggie). And I probably wouldn’t stay here in summer because tiny outdoor balcony was too small. But this was perfect for two buddies on a ski getaway and and easy location to explore this amazing town.

Highly recommend! Location is perfect: 1. It’s right next to the river which is lovely to walk along and listen to at night, 2. Perfect walking distance to food, shopping, bike rentals, park, and one of the gondola stations, 3. Parking is included and covered, and 4. The property is nestled perfectly away from the Main Street so it is quiet and provides the most lovely views. Property is clean and accommodating. Pool, hot tub, and steam room were clean and has the best views to admire while relaxing. We’re already planning our return trip to Telluride (which is dreamy) and without hesitation would stay at Ice House again.
