Lumière by Dunton - Relais & Chateaux

We had the best five day staying at Lumiere. The service was impeccable. The room and the Residences are wonderful. The staff were so helpful the boys from black-tie could bend over backwards to do anything for you in the Ski VALET. The breakfast service was fantastic and the selection was great. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Great accommodations. Awesome restaurant. Excellent staff. BUT don't expect housekeeping to loofa your back. They won't and get really annoyed when you repeatedly ask. So everything was amazing except I wasn't exfoliated for a week.

Greedy hotel We arrive at 11 am before the check in time of 2 pm They had all of our rooms ready but they won’t let us go in to them unless we pay almost 1 extra night price

Our family loves the Lumiere in Telluride for our ski trips. The staff are so welcoming and take care of you from the beginning of planning rentals, lift tickets, reservations for dinner to whatever you need help with during your stay. My family loves the convenience of the ski valet at level 3R. We simply head down the elevator each morning in our socks to get our boots and skis on for the day. The men in the ski valet are absolutely wonderful and take the best care of you and all your needs. My boys also love that when you exit here at the Lumiere you are taken to Lift 4 versus if you stay lower like the Madeline hotel for example you have to ski down the Meadows and ride lift 1 to get to lift 4. Make sure to get multiple humidifiers for better sleep and we usually crack a door to try an

We could not have been more delighted with the accommodations and staff at Lumiere. We have an architect and an interior designer in our family and tend to be disappointed when we arrive at hotels for the first time but we were elated when we arrived at Lumiere as the spaces was decorated so tastefully and the spaces were generous in size resulting in a very enjoyable stay. Everyone was so friendly and helpful throughout our entire stay. We especially appreciated the breakfast food being in place upon arrival as we were very busy during out stay with a rehearsal dinner and wedding.||I would be shocked if there is a better place to stay in Telluride based on the quality of the accommodations and the amazing staff. I am grateful to have enjoyed such an amazing stay at Lumiere! || |
