The Orchard Hotel

I had a fantastic stay at **The Orchard Hotel**. From the moment I arrived, the staff stood out for being genuinely friendly and providing truly exceptional service. As a pleasant surprise, I was upgraded to a full suite at no additional cost. The suite itself was beautifully decorated, spacious, and very comfortable. Everything was spotless, and the attention to cleanliness really showed. Overall, the room was quiet, well-appointed, and made for a relaxing stay. Excellent service, a great room, and a thoughtful upgrade—highly recommended.

Positive: Nice location, hotel in good shape Negative: People checked in on our last night in 2 rooms beside us. Look , party like atmosphere beginning at 5 pm. I told the front desk and when we returned they were quieter but then beginning at 3 am people were coming in/ out of these rooms making noise.

Spent 2 nights at the Orchard Hotel and had a wonderful time. Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was very spacious with a living room, bedroom and a truly huge bathroom. Everything was clean and the rooms were nicely decorated. Beds were super comfortable and plush. Plus the location is absolutely ideal with Chinatown and Union Square only steps away. Definitely would come back to this hotel!

This boutique hotel is in a great location with an outstanding staff who are there to make your stay more than what you expected. They know their way around the City which is a big plus. We’ve stayed here a few times over the last couple of years. Rooms and suites have that oriental feel and are comfortable. Filtered water dispenser is available. It’s walking distance to SF’s famous Chinatown, Union Square, and the cable car to Fisherman’s Wharf is within steps outside its doors. Neighborhood bars and a couple of good sushi bars are nearby as well. There is NO valet or hotel parking but staff can direct you to nearby public parking structures or try your luck at street paid parking.

We were warmly welcomed by a nice gentleman (I think John) and Klaus, the General Manger. That set the tone of the stay. The first impression makes a big difference. We stayed at one of their king suites which was amazing. The room was very spacious with a huge bathroom and good view and very clean. We were also surprised how quiet it was since it is very close to everything. Karla and Rowan were great in helping us book the room. We will definitely come back to this charming hotel and highly recommend it.
