The Marker Union Square San Francisco

I had an excellent stay at The Marker Union Square and would absolutely choose it again. The room was very comfortable and, despite being in a busy downtown area, impressively quiet (I was on the 7th floor). It made for a very restful experience. The desk staff was absolutely stellar - special shout out to Priscilla! Everyone at the front desk was efficient, kind, consistently smiling, and genuinely sympathetic. They helped us solve different issues during our stay with professionalism and warmth, which really made a difference. The hotel restaurant is also quite good. Breakfast (not included with the room) was very enjoyable and well worth it. We stay at this hotel every year for the same annual conference and continue to have an excellent experience. Because our event requires booking well in advance, the sales team has been outstanding to work with—responsive, organized, and genuinely helpful throughout the planning process. The hotel rooms are consistently comfortable, clean, and well-maintained, which makes a busy conference week much more enjoyable. A major plus for our group is the hotel’s ability to accommodate connecting rooms, which is extremely helpful for our team’s logistics. We truly appreciate the consistency and reliability of both the staff and the property, and we look forward to returning each year.

Very nice hotel. I stayed at The Marker during a business trip for four nights - the location at Union Square is perfect with access to many restaurants, shops, activities and public transport. Thanks for the great service providing me a microwave during my stay. Also, the small surprises like the coconut water at check-in or the cinnamon popcorn during my stay were appreciated. The team members at the reception were all very nice, they greeted me with my name and did daily follow-ups.

When I first walked into the lobby I could not believe how beautiful the hotel was. I was blown away with how elegant but also welcoming the space is; there is even a special curated fragrance they use throughout the public areas that smells AMAZING (I literally cannot stop thinking about it)! The staff is very attentive and friendly, which made the check-in process seamless. There are two lobby areas that are simply stunning (each with their own fireplace) that really set the tone for the hotel and made it feel truly unique. I flew in for a concert in San Francisco and stayed at this hotel — it was a wonderful experience. The interior was beautiful, and my room was huge, with two separate rooms! The staff was amazing, everyone was so polite. And by a lucky coincidence, the musicians from the concert I went to were staying at the same hotel, so I even got to chat with them a little. I’m so happy — thank you for such a great time! I’ll definitely come back!
