The LOOM Hotel, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

As a Hilton Honors Diamond member I enjoy staying at different properties throughout the Hilton portfolio when I visit a particular area. Recently retired I like to take train trips just to fill my time, and then stay at a hotel before returning the next day. This place looked interesting, given its proximity to a mall and places to eat. So it was that I travelled by Amtrak to Providence, took MBTA to the TF Green Airport station, and then Uber from there to this hotel.||The day before my stay, I checked in via the Hilton app and chose my room. The trip there went without a hitch, and I was soon onsite. Despite a little rain, it was easy to walk from the hotel and across the street to the mall, where there was a diverse choice of eateries at which to have dinner.||My chosen room

I really enjoyed my stay at The Loom Hotel. The space was quiet, beautifully decorated, and very spacious. The customer service was great, and I had a very good dining experience at the restaurant. The room could have been a little cleaner, but overall it was still a wonderful experience. The hotel is also conveniently located near a mall and various shops, which made everything very accessible.

This is a Tapestry hotel by Hilton. It is set in a historic textile mill. Very well done - perfect for people like us where “it is about the hotel”! The service was wonderful - the only drawback is the parking. Hard to navigate - across the street and a limited unloading area. We arrived in the dark - it was a challenge! The restaurant is excellent. We plan to stay here again.

They’re going to tell you it’s variances in the concrete. If that was true, it shouldn’t be wet. I booked The Loom Hotel for a one-night stay specifically for a quiet, comfortable night. Unfortunately, the experience was unacceptable. The first room I was given lacked a privacy shade, so I had to change rooms. The second room had visible moisture issues, including dark staining on the concrete ceiling and active condensation with damp brick and window framing. This was explained to me as “normal wear for concrete,” which does not make sense when interior surfaces are visibly wet. In addition, the TV in the room was malfunctioning with a distorted blue screen. After staying the night, I woke up with severe sinus congestion and a significant flare to my chronic illness.
