Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Providence Airport Warwick

Location is great right next to airport. Went to our room. The room smelled a little like stale cigarettes. There was a housekeeping person next to my room. I asked if she had some spray for the room. She just handed it to me. No hello can I help you nothing. Then the TV wasn't working got that fixed, then when we returned later that night the TV did not work again. Since it was after 11pm there was no maintenance I was told. I went and pulled some cables and reinstalled them. TV worked. Then there was no creamer for the coffee. Was told they were going to get some. Beds were comfy most of the staff were great.

I was on recruiting trip from my son to Sacred Heart and Trinity College this past weekend. We flew into PVD because BDL (Hartford) was double the price. It was an easy drive to SHU that morning. There was a little confusion with getting a rental car after hours from Avis. The Fairfield is just a walk over from the airport. You have to be a little vigilant and follow the signs in the airport to the parking garage thru the opposite corner door. The room was very clean and a quite sleep for the time we where there. The room was a little small but for the night it was fine. Hot breakfast and coffee in the morning and we got on our way. The staff was very friendly and courteous.

Our flight was scheduled for early morning. We decided to go to the airport area the night before and this hotel was perfect!The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and very clean. The drawback was that the hot breakfast started at 6:30 AM but we had to leave at 6:00 AM so we had a muffin. It looked like the breakfast would have been wonderful!

I had a super nights rest at that Fairfield. Honestly, that’s the nicest Fairfield I’ve seen in a while. Made me wish I was spending more than one night. My room was clean, comfortable and well appointed. The staff checking in and out were quite competent, professional and kind. The breakfast was the typical continental. I had some space eggs and bacon. The only part of the hotel that really didn’t live up to the rest was the hallways, I thought my room would be a little rough due to the hallway being little old and dated, but nope, those rooms are fully up to par.

This hotel experience was warm, considerate and comfortable. The team has been friendly and supportive especially the front team like Victoria that went over and beyond to help make our stay satisfying. I recommend trying here if you’re in town
