Customer Reviews
Location is great; service very good. Breakfast at city table with limited choices (no croissants, no pastries at all).
The staff are all so welcoming and professional, even down to housekeeping. They were so accommodating and upgraded our room when there was a drain issue in bathtub. Room was always so clean and welcoming when we returned after a day of exploring. And the location is perfect. Room service was amazing every time all the food was so good.
Wonderfully elegant hotel in a great location in Back Bay. The staff were marvelous and very welcoming. Our room was perfect and very spacious. We were upgraded to a room with a fireplace because it was a special birthday ending in a zero. The hotel is a historic building and it has been beautifully preserved. The beds are super comfy and the housekeeping staff left our room spotless every day. The guys on the door, particularly Mike, are very helpful, so please make use of them - and don’t forget to tip a few dollars. This hotel really made our holiday a special one in the beautiful city of Boston, one of the most friendly cities we've visited.
I recently stayed at the Lenox for the first time in December and I can see why the rave reviews! The hotel is historic and charming. It is centrally located and very convenient. The service is what stood out to me. From the moment I stepped into the hotel, the check-in process, the room - I felt cared for. The service was so gracious and personalized. I even received a hand-written thank you note from the General Manager alongside 2 delicious chocolate chip cookies. (The note was lovely but those chocolate chip cookies? I am still thinking about them a month later!) I stayed in the room with the fireplace but I didnt get a chance to enjoy it. The room was spacious and styled like your grandma's house. Well maintained but not modern which I think is keeping with the history of this
My husband and I stayed here for a few nights to celebrate my birthday. The hotel and the staff are absolutely top notch!! The wonderful bellmen were all so nice and professional, every single front desk staff we had always had a big smile and were more than happy to answer our questions. My husband was also in correspondence with Valery prior to our trip to arrange flowers and champagne for the room. She did an amazing job and I was so touched by the birthday greeting! We upgraded to the room with the fireplace which was amazing!!! It was the best feeling coming back from a day of exploring to have a fire lit within a few minutes of requesting it. This was our first time in Boston and we loved how accessible most things are by walking or by taking the train. Bostonians are just awesome pe
