The Hotel Hollywood

The hotel is fine for the price. I stayed here at the end of a week long trip to Southern CA so that I was closer to the airport for my flight the next day and to check out Hollywood. The room is small but functional. They don't have a microwave or coffeemaker or elevator. It is near the walk of Fame and other attractions.

Excellent budget hotel with the basics. Good service, very clean room and bathroom (my number 1 priority). You're 2 min away from Hollywood Blv, 10 min from the metro (Hollywood-Highland), and 2.5 hrs hike from the Hollywood Sign (highly recommended for teens+). The street itself isn't the prettiest but definitely safe in LA standards.

Positive: Location Negative: 1. Room is too small2. Reception was not there at times where they should have3. Too loud, noise insulation is not good, I woke up like 20 times during the night.

We knew we were booking a 2 star hotel, maybe one of those stars is for having walls and a roof. ||The only positives here are the fact they store luggage after check out and pre check in. ||Also staff were helpful when we ran into problems with our credit and travel cards and gave us 24 hours to pay the security deposit. ||Rooms are tiny, walls are thin, beds and pillows very uncomfortable. Bathrooms tiny as well. ||Location was ok for Hollywood Boulevard.

My partner and I had the best time!!! BIG SHOUT OUT to ANDRES who was SO helpful and professional!! Ok, it's not a 5 Star Hotel, but for what you get, it's PERFECT, everything you need and location is GREAT, really central to the heart of New York. I would LOVE to stay there again in the future!!
