Dunes Inn - Sunset

I stayed here with my family for a few nights. From the moment we arrived, everything went smoothly. The gentleman at the reception was very helpful — he even gave me a map of the area with tourist attractions marked on it. The rooms were clean and well-maintained. The only minor downside was that there were small gaps around the door, so it might feel a bit cold during the winter season. However, there was heating and ventilation in the room, which compensated for that — at least in my room. There is a large parking lot, and we had no problem finding a parking space. A Target store and several other shops are located literally next door. There is also a gas station nearby, and you can easily find something to eat in the area — or simply use Uber Eats. Great location, central to most things if you rented a car. Secure free parking which is near impossible to find on sunset. Place is well lit and felt secure despite neighborhood not the best. During the day there is a security guard which is a plus. Friendly staff and great prices. I love the whilshire location as well. But if that is booked, this location is great too.

Wonderful clean, good location, reasonable priced hotel in the heart of LA. Staff was very kind, rooms clean and pleasantly apportioned. Short walks to food, stores and more. Would stay again if needing to be at a future event in this area of LA!

No nonsense, reasonably priced motel in the heart of Hollywood. Free parking, decent sized clean room and close to local amenities. My only complaint was that the air conditioning unit was unbearably loud, but given the price of the room I couldn’t really complain. Would stay again!

4 days of stay, rooms were good, but the ac was kinda noisy but its ok, unfortunately does not have microwave, coffee machine. But you can manage with some groceries and the starbucks in the street. Service was really friendly, the ice machine was really important. The location is great, close to a lot of stuff and restaurants. Free parking is the deal breaker, this was so good to have.
