First, the good....the valets were all very nice and efficient and the location is excellent if you are visiting or working in the area with great restaurants in walking distance. |However...initially it is difficult to determine where the front desk is (far back left corner of the lobby and behind walls) and then at first impression and on to the remainder of the stay, the front desk staff were not friendly even when spoken to or a question asked of them. Could we even have a smile and not feel as though we were a bother?|The room was overall clean but the smell was bad on entering the room; smelling of old bleach and soured water. It took nearly a day for the odor to dissipate. The bed was so poorly made that I remade with the sheets back to the correct position and fitted sheets over

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My recent stay at The Hotel at Avalon, Autograph Collection in Alpharetta, GA was absolutely exceptional. From the moment I arrived, the service was warm, polished, and attentive without being overbearing. The staff truly made me feel welcomed and valued. The property itself is stunning. The design is modern yet comfortable, with beautiful finishes throughout the lobby and common areas. My room was spotless, spacious, and thoughtfully appointed, with plush bedding and every detail carefully considered. It felt both luxurious and relaxing. The location is unbeatable. Being situated right in Avalon makes it incredibly convenient to walk to fantastic restaurants, shopping, and entertainment. Everything you could need is just steps away, yet the hotel still feels peaceful and private.

I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and equipped with all the essential amenities. The staff was professional, courteous, and always willing to assist with any request. The location was convenient, making it easy to access key areas in the city. This hotel has been our go to hotel every time we come to Georgia to visit family. It's location is perfect for coordinating visits with friends and family between Cumming, Buckhead, Woodstock, and Alpharetta. The main lobby space is like a living room and is awesome for hanging out and relaxing with friends and family. It has Easy proximity to the bar for drinks, munchies, or meals and if the bar/ restaurant isnt your thing, there is a full service Starbucks also adjacent. The rooms are super comfortable regardless of the size. The best part though is that the staff has always felt like an extended part of the family from the very first time we visited.
