Atlanta Marriott Alpharetta

Normally, I have nothing but good things to say about Marriott properties, but this one is an exception. I will say the overall property as well as our room was spotless clean. But the service was poor and worst of all our shower had no hot water. I had attempted to check in on my app and get mobile entry. I did this hours in advance, but by our check in time we never received anything. When we arrived, there was only one person working the front desk. So I had to wait with two people ahead of me. The employee gave us a key and said they had been having trouble with them working. Our room was on the 5th floor. Sure enough, the key did not work. I went back down. I had to wait in line again because two other guests were ahead of me. The employee gave us a new key for a different room. And t

I have to say that the team at this Marriott is top of the class. Great room, clean, serviced daily. The team at the bar and restaurant are 6 stars, even though ratings stop at 5. Hats off to Andrew, Net, and Zach, such a great team, they are now part of my family. Looking forward to coming back again soon.

I had a wonderful stay here. The front desk staff were extremely accommodating and warm. I greatly appreciated the excellent service. Room was clean and the blackout curtains were great.

Positive: Very clean Negative: I wasn't too happy that the shower was a normal tub/shower combo instead of just a walkin shower. Thats 1 thing i always try to make sure of when booking a hotel.

The property is located in nice area. The lobby is very nice and bar as well. The room was clean and spacious. The black out curtains were great, slept too much. Went to the breakfast area and ordered. Waitress was attentive but once she brought my food she went to her corner and started coughing and hacking up snot and spitting it out several times which was a big appetite turnoff. She should have went somewhere else where guest that are eating didn’t see or hear. Made me question the cleanliness of my food. To be honest it took my appetite away. The price of the food was pretty high for what you get. Aside from that which was a major turnoff the hotel stay was pleasant. They could use a few touch ups but overall good stay.
