Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Alpharetta Avalon Area

This Fairfield Suites location is why I will always be a Marriott member. From the moment you walk to the front desk, the associates Mimi or Mr G will be ready to assist you and get you checked in as quickly as possible. The rooms are clean and comfortable with large Smart t.v.'s, a mini fridge, and a microwave. The shower's water pressure was perfect and the beds are quite cozy. The breakfast choices were decent but appeared to be low in stock both mornings I was there... maybe items were restocked after I had left? Still, absolutely nothing to complain about as this is a much newer hotel and the staff obviously appreciate their jobs. I would highly recommend every type of traveler who is near the Alpharetta area to plan your stay here.

I am local but needed a hotel for a night so I chose this property since it was new. I typically avoid the brand because of the garish carpet, so I was happy this one had more modern colors. The staff at the front desk was friendly at check in though my status was not acknowledged. A small thing and unimportant to most, but I always appreciate it.||The room itself was fine. Standard room. (No upgrade offered). The bed was comfy. TV was the standard Marriott tv with the frustrating remote with the flat buttons (I HATE the remotes).||The shower was nice with a little foot step for leg shaving. Water was a good temperature and pressure.||Here is what I didn’t like:||The window shades are this bizarre fall leaf print. It looks ridiculous from inside and out. Not sure why in the middle of

Positive: Staff is very friendly, especially hotel employee at the front desk who was quick to assist with any of my needs or concerns. Negative: No microwave in the room.

Hello, my name is Mekiah Smith and I chose this hotel originally due to the phenomenal reviews and price. When I first walked in and proceeded to get checked in everything seemed well until I was charged $160 for a room and an additional $28 holding fee for a room for another customer, when I paid for the room in full a week prior totalling out to $101. I proceeded to go the the room and realized it was a room meant for another individual. My wife and I proceeded to go to the desk again. In which I was given the response that I would be given a refund and placed in the proper room. 2nd times the charm? No. The next room already belong to another individual. My wife and I proceeded to open the door and saw the dirty laundry of another individual as well as a unmade bed. To the desk again.

The property is new, beautiful, and thoughtfully designed, providing exactly the comfort and ease our team needed while traveling. What truly set this stay apart was the exceptional hospitality. The team demonstrated genuine care through consistent follow-up, attention to detail, and warm, friendly service that made our group feel welcomed and valued. Coordinating a multi-room booking can be complex, yet everything was handled seamlessly and professionally.
