The Gate

This is a hidden gem in Skaneateles new york. The accommodations are decorated in such a quaint comfortable fashion, the rooms are clean, they are close to town, easy check in and easy booking, safe area and affordable.

We had a great stay at The Gate. Perfect location to be near the lakes, the cute Skaneateles village and concerts at the Beak & Skiff. The Inn Keeper was extremely helpful and responsive. Check in was a breeze. Room was clean and newly renovated.

Peaceful, clean, luxurious and comfortable! Our family stayed at The Gate in the two bedroom and loved it. They had great amenities and it was super conveniently located. The grounds were well-maintained also and our kids loved playing the huge lawn area. It looked like they had quite a few units too so it would make for a great large family/multi family vacation or even an event. We will 100% stay here again on future visits to SKN!

From the outside you may wonder but once inside the rooms are updated and comfortable. Clean, A/C is great and so close to the main village. Service is great and recommendations were excellent.

My husband and I spent 4th of July weekend at The Gate. This place is a hidden gem! The owner was very kind and responsive and thought of everything! The place is extremely clean, comfortable and quiet. Everything is exactly as pictured....very new and neat. The bathroom was wonderful with an awesome shower and shower pressure! We loved having a nice little kitchen to enjoy our own coffee and breakfast. The bed was also incredibly comfortable! Easy walk to the downtown shops, restaurants and bars. We hope to return for another stay next year! The Gate is 5 Star! Book it, you will be happy you did!
