34 State - Historic Luxury Suites

We booked 34 State for a weekend trip to Skaneateles for the Dickens Festival. Our room, the downstairs sitting area, and dining room were extremely inviting. The gas fireplace and soft music were a nice way to enjoy a bourbon after a cold day downtown with Dickens characters. Our room was nicely appointed and comforting. The location is convenient to downtown main street, Genesee Street, with shops, restaurants, and cafés. Coffee and snacks were available 24 hours in the small kitchen area. We would highly recommend 34 State if you're looking for a quiet relaxing stay.

We had a great experience at 34 State Historic Luxury Suites! The location is great - a quiet street just a block from the main avenue in Skaneateles. Our room was very spacious and the decor was eclectic and tasteful. The common areas are very elegant! A wonderful feature is a little pantry with hot and cold drinks and snacks, available at any time of day. The innkeeper Katie kept a low profile but was always available by phone call or text to answer questions. We would highly recommend 34 State and look forward to returning!

Karen, Sweet Eve and I were welcomed to this fabulous home by Katie, the owner. We stayed in the Barrow suite and it was wonderful. Our breakfast, delivered to the room by Katie, was scruptous. It was so good, my wife is requesting Katie's recipe for the best omelet ever! Thank you Katie for a perfect stay!

We stayed in the charming Stag Horn Suite to celebrate our anniversary, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The room was cozy, spotless, and thoughtfully prepared. Perfect location to walk to restaurants and shops. Overall, it was the perfect place to celebrate—peaceful, cozy, and well cared for. Highly recommend!

Katie is an amazing host. And the property is super comfortable, historic, and inviting. The bedding alone is worth the visit!! I've stayed at a lot of properties in Skaneateles, and this is my new favorite.
