The Covered Bridge Inn

I think i found my new place to escape for a couple nights when needing a break from home and work. One complaint Its not the hotel its people who smoke leaving cigarette butts on the ground its not polite I smoke I dispose of it properly. I find to be disrespectful to this property or to any property you choose to stay.I do recommend staying here very clean, modern outlets nice tv simple nothing fancy most importantly I get to sleep 😴 thank you everyone at the covered bridge inn. I really enjoyed my stay

Positive: Fridge in the room, modest breakfast served Negative: The carpet in my room was moist and got my feet and socks wet. I had to walk around in shoes to avoid touching it. The room also smelled strange. I’m glad I only stayed one night, but I won’t be back after that off-putting experience.

If you're planning a getaway trip to southern VT, this inn serves as a great homebase. The inn does NOT have an elevator, so do yourself a favor and request a room on the first floor. This place covered all of our basic necessities. Breakfast was served from 7AM - 10AM and was very simple (bagels, cereal, dairy items in the fridge, coffee & tea). Our room had a king size bed and was comfortable. Our TV didn't initially connect, but the front desk staff was very helpful and fixed it within minutes. The room had a clean bathroom, two night stands, a dresser, long table, desk chair, a simple coffee maker, small fridge, and microwave (I recommend turning the dial to 4 minutes in order to heat your food up properly). Great location and the room is spacious

I had a terrible experience staying at the Covered Bridge Inn in Brattleboro, Vermont. From the moment I entered the room, there was a strong odor that smelled like a wet dog. When I turned on the air conditioner or heater, an even worse smell came out of the vents, similar to an old wet kitchen rag. The carpet between the beds was damp, which made the room feel unclean and uncomfortable. The toilet lid would not stay up unless it was held with my leg while standing, and the bathtub would not drain properly unless I physically held the stopper down with my hand or foot while showering. The walls were dirty and even had writing on them that said, “Mel, I love U.” It looked very tacky and made the room feel neglected and poorly maintained.
