Quality Inn & Conference Center Brattleboro North

I booked a room the day before at this hotel. I showed up the next day to check in, and the person at the front desk, said that they have no rooms available, and you aren’t supposed to be able to book online. She, she was unable to help me in any way as far as finding another accommodation or resolving the problem. I called Priceline, and they were very helpful in relocating me to a different hotel. When I got to the new hotel, I told them that I had been relocated from the quality Inn, and the woman at the front desk audibly gasped, Saying “I didn’t realize they rented rooms anymore, that place has been a homeless shelter since Covid”. After reading, some of the reviews from people that have stayed there in the last handful of years, I am extremely glad that I am not staying there tonight

Overall, this wasn't a bad place to stay. The staff is very nice and helpful. But the hotel itself is older, and the room and amenities reflect that. It's a good value for the price, but compared to other Quality Inn's I've stayed at, this one was lacking. The pool area wasn't sufficiently lit, beds were too soft, and the hot breakfast buffet choices were sparse. Both front desk employees, though, were really nice. I asked for an extra pillow and shampoo, and these items were brought very quickly. One employee also gave us a great recommendations for dinner.

This hotel was perfectly fine. The price was right and was not expecting much but I have to say it exceeded my expectations. The woman who checked us in was so nice and friendly. The bed was super comfy and the sheets were so soft! Breakfast was fine...typical hotel breakfast. Too bad they did not have real Maple syrup...you know being in VT! Hotel defintely shows its age but it is obvious they do the best they can with with what they have to work with and in no means affected my stay. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised and would stay again.

We had everything we needed at a reasonable price. Nice shower, comfortable bed, hot, well stocked breakfast buffet, helpful staff, and an inviting looking pool (we did not have time to try it). We would have been completely satisfied with our stay, if the heat had been turned on in our rooms prior to our arrival. Our rooms were very cold and it took until sometime during the night for the room temp to feel warm. Staff immediately brought us extra blankets upon our request.

It was much better than I expected after reading the reviews. The carpet in the common areas is filthy and nobody bothers to vacuum it, but the room was clean and it looked like it had been redone not that long ago. The bed was comfortable and the bedding was clean. I had an issue with the room I got assigned originally (the door would not lock), but the receptionist took care of it relatively quickly. My request to get a quiet room was also accommodated and I heard no noise during the night. I did not care for the breakfast after taking a quick look at it; I think it was worse than what you would normally expect at a motel, but I guess it was better than nothing. Overall, it did not disappoint. I gave it two starts because of the dirty hallway carpet and the food, but it is a step up from
