The Chester Hotel

We stayed at The Chester Hotel on Dec 26-28th. This Hotel is a hidden jem...The rooms are hugh, beautifully decorated and comfortable...looks like a page out of Architectual Design Magazine. I love the thick facecloths and towels. The service and staff are supurb...we had a slight plumbing problem (no water in the toilet tank) and the plumber was there in 15 minutes to repair it! The 3rd Floor Room was a challenge due to the many steep steps...and we were offered a room on the first floor...this should be disclosed prior to one's stay; otherwise no complaints! I would definitely stay there again and highly recommend The Chester!

I had a wonderful stay at The Chester Hotel. The room was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully designed, creating the perfect space to relax after a long day. The location was incredibly convenient, and every detail throughout the hotel felt thoughtful and well cared for. I loved everything about my stay and would be glad to return. Highly recommended! 💛

I LOVED my stay at The Chester! It was a perfect home base for the week. The neighborhood was so cute, the finishes in the apartment were luxurious, the bed was super comfortable, the towels and bath products were lush, and you got so much more space compared to other hotels in Boston. It’s a great value! I will 100% be staying here again on my next work trip!

We booked this through VRBO. The stay was not really a hotel stay but more of an adventure. We arrived late and had to get through about 20 people in front of the building having a party. The stairs to the 4th floor are crooked (leaning to the left), which was a challenge with heavy suitcases. We had booked a room for 3 people, but there was no bedding for the pull out couch. After asking for help, I was instructed to go on another adventure in the hallways to find a closet with bedding. Water pressure in the shower is nonexistent, so you have to chase sprinkles of water. There are hardly any wall plugs in the room for charging devices, bed lights not working. All in all a house converted to a hotel-ish experience by someone who is more obsessed with olive green wallpaint and copper accen

We loved our stay at The Chester! Great location, very close to Northeastern, the South End and Back Bay areas, very walkable. The rooms are spacious and it feels like a boutique 5-star hotel. We come to Boston often and we will be staying at The Chester again for sure!
