The Charlesmark Boutique Hotel

Great little hotel with comfortable rooms. A little disappointed with the breakfast as told would be a hot drink and a pastry but only a flask of coffee and hot water available and no pastries both mornings. Overall great hotel and great location

I had an amazing experience during my stay, and a big part of that was thanks to Brittanie at the front desk. She was truly awesome—kind, respectful, professional, and incredibly friendly. From the moment I arrived, she made me feel welcome and well taken care of. She went out of her way to be helpful and made the whole check-in process smooth and pleasant. Staff members like Brittanie make all the difference. Her positive attitude and professionalism are outstanding. I genuinely appreciate her excellent service and would gladly stay here again because of her!

Just stayed a 3-night weekend here. The back bay location is nearly perfect for easily experiencing the best of Boston. The value for the $ is location. Many great bars and restaurants in the area as well as the main Back Bay transportation station and the Green Line T stop couldn't be closer. Cute coffee/pastry place in hotel (free coffee and croissant) and a cafe next door with good mediterranean influenced breakfast and lunch. Stayed in a Queen room with a window but the view was a very narrow alley and so the window let in so little daylight that it was useless. Room was extremely small even by big city standards - bathroom was nearly 2/3 the size of the room portion. Bed was comfortable and shower was very nice. Room would not be cooled to below 70 degrees but was good enough.

Positive: The location,free coffee & croissant breakfast. The quality of the furnishings and the cleanliness. Negative: Room 204 was very, very, very small. I expected this from reading reviews but decided to stay even though the window faced a brick wall. No room to walk around the bed or even eat a snack. The shower water pressure was bad.Would recommend with caution,

We stayed here late night on Christmas eve and Lilly was absolutely wonderful she was so friendly went over everything with us and was so sweet she gave us all the details about the surrounding areas recommended there sister hotel for future business stays was all around a pleasure I will be staying here again simply because you can't find service like that in hotels anymore. The room was great as well and the location was key. We will definitely be back
