The Bridges Hotel

We stayed here two nights for about $220-$260 total. -Ac manually controlled so cannot adjust the temperature in the room. 1st night too hot, 2nd night too cold ended up unplugging the unit as it was full blast AC WHEN the temperature outside was 30 degrees. -No microwave -No housekeeping done in our two day stay had to hustle bath towels off a cart in the hallway and take our own trash away. -In room phone is a prompt, it does not work. We had to call the front desk from cell phone. -Leftover food was in our fridge from a previous guest. -No iron and ironing board in the room, when asked you are given an iron and forced to iron on the bed. -No safe -No place to hang up clothes or store clothes we used the bell hop for a makeshift closet for our two night stay. Would not stay here again. P

Positive: The staff was top tier. We were greeted using our names - the kind of service usually experienced at higher price points. Negative: They're in a renovation. Our room didn't have a thermostat so it was hot and cold, at times. Also, the traffic noise was loud.

Room was clean and comfortable. Pillows are kind of noisy. Provided hygiene products smell great, body wash wasn't refilled though. Front desk was responsive and called during second day while out to let me know the elevator broke but a a repair person will attempt to fix. Would stay again if in the area.

Since the hotel is new, the conveniences of staying at a hotel with these rates, just wasn't there. Bathroom floor wasn't mopped. A/C unit was manually controlled by the hotels, spent 3 nights in a hot room. Ice machine didn't work on our floor, no microwaves, phone lines weren't set up to hotels room service/receptionist/room service. Pillows were very hard. Management staff and location was great, but that's about it.

I have visited many hotels along my journey in life but this one was the least prepared. Most places have a spot that you can purchase bullshit food to heat up in a pinch. Unfortunately there wasn't a single option available. Be better if you plan on remaining in business. This place is less than adequate.
