GardenSong Guest House

My wife and I really enjoyed our brief stay in the Nat King Cole Suite of the Garden Song Guest House. The check-in was really convenient and quick (an email with a code for the front door and our room keys were in our door when we arrived). It was well below freezing when we arrived so we didn't spend much time walking around the area, nor did we get to fully enjoy the private balcony/porch that was attached to our room. Our biggest fear was that we would get cold in the night (it was around 20 degrees outside), but the electric heater kept it comfortable. ||We enjoyed exploring the history of the building. Our stay was amazing! The room was tidy and well decorated. The beds were well made with luxurious duvets. We loved the frog wallpaper and green fixtures in the bathroom. The in suite ac unit really helped keep the room cool. Being on the third floor we were worried that it might get a bit warm or stuffy but were happy to be proved wrong. If there were any "complaints" or suggestions at all, it would be to invest in some smart tvs or chrome cast devices. We suggest this with all hotels/B and Bs we visit. Given that the town goes to sleep pretty early and there were limited channeloptions, it would have made the later hours of the evening/night a bit more relaxing.

We stayed in the Clark gable room since they had three beds. It was ok, but needed some work.. the house is beautiful, but this room had some problems…No tv channels with news on…we watched old reruns of shark tank. The bathroom windows are almost impossible to open, so no ventilation..twin beds have mattresses than slide off the base…air con not efficient in front bedroom…..in room coffee maker only makes one cup…I think these are simple fixes..||We loved Ruth, our breakfast server.she is a delight! A real GEM! A wonderful old Southern house. Very comfortable (though the beds squeak!), clean and beautifully decorated. Loved it! We stayed in the Clark Gable suite which has two separate bedrooms. Nice breakfast which gave us the opportunity to chat to other guests.

Lovely. Our room (Clark Gable Suite) was so comfortable and spacious. We were a bit worried that the outside hot temps would mean an older house would be warm but the rooms have individual air conditioners that kept it ice cold. It's close to everything you need in downtown Natchez. There's even a convenience store just a few hundred yards away that's easy to walk to.
