The Blake Hotel

This is a top three hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Amazing staff, they granted anything we asked for. Great bar and restaurant. Perfect location close to music hall. Valet parking available but also right near multiple garages in walking distance and in the same Block as BAR….the rooms were insanely big and full of every accommodation you can think of. Pots pans, a stove a beautiful stainless steel fridge….just absolutely spacious and incredible one EVERY way. So much so I’m doing a video on my Facebook because I’m that happy with it. Love LOVE this place and will definitely be back.

Very stylish and welcoming lobby area. The room was likewise stylish, spacious and designed with practicality in mind. Cute kitchen in the room with generous daily offerings of coffee/tea. Plus drip coffee and individual breakfast items in the lobby every morning. Contemporary bathroom design and plumbing. Convenient downtown location.

We went to New Haven for the pizza pilgrimage and wanted a hotel with a kitchenette. We got lucky and found The Blake to have a great boutique hotel look and feel. The decor is very tasteful, the rooms are spacious with NO carpet (carpet is gross!) it was very clean. The bathroom was large, quality linens, and good water pressure. The kitchenette had everything we needed, although freezers in mini fridges are always too small and never cold enough. We were there for three nights and every staff person was professional. The area seemed very safe and we walked quite a bit to museums, coffee shops, and restaurants. And while we didn't bring our dog on this trip, The Blake is dog friendly!

This hotel is very clean and new. The location is great — very close to Yale University. There’s a laundry room on the 6th floor, which is super convenient. The front desk staff were warm and welcoming. I would definitely stay here again next time!

Stayed here for a night on our visit to Yale. Really comfortable place, great location and nice staff. There wasn’t any parking or space out in front(unless you’re blocking the street) to unload gear/ cases so we ended up parking in the public lot down the block, we also found out later that there was also a valet around the corner/ in the back. There’s a continental breakfast but no hotel restaurant but plenty of sit down spots around the area. They also have a 24 hour Walgreens a block and a half down as well. Overall a great experience at a cozy spot in a convenient location.
