The Best Way Inn

Room 129 at The Best Way Inn, New Haven was completely unacceptable. The toilet and shower were dirty, the bedding stained, and the rug and furniture dusty. There was a strong, pungent smell of smoke and cigarette, along with mold and mildew. Fixtures were broken, the window blind was damaged, and the air conditioning didn’t work. This hotel should not be allowed to continue business. Aren’t there inspections required to ensure basic standards are met? We were forced to sleep in our car despite paying. Deserves no stars if that were an option. Expedia should reconsider partnering with hotels like this.

I did not come all the way by car from New York to Connecticut to be disrespected and yet I was. The woman who works there is rude, argues with paying customers (especially when I'M COLD AND SAYS IT'S NOT) and has horrible bedside manor. I was uncomfortable during majority of my stay. Either this place needs new management or new owners, but 10/10 DO NOT BOOK HERE.

I stayed here with my partner. This place had mice for starters. Now, the room was filthy, blankets smelled horribly. Not to mention the service we received was terrible. The room we stayed in was extremely cold, when we asked if they'd accommodate the situation, the lady refused to even help.

Signs of previous bedbug infestation, room stank of cigarettes despite getting non-smoking, roaches, antenna TV, poorly maintained. Cheap, but poor value.
